Ziosoft Simplifies Advanced Visualization Workflow with New Revoras Platform

into Revoras that produces photorealistic images.

Advanced visualization software developer Ziosoft has launched Revoras, a new platform designed to simplify advanced visualization workflow across healthcare enterprises. Ziosoft demonstrated Revoras as a work-in-progress at last month’s RSNA 2022 meeting.

Revoras was designed with productivity enhancements that are intended to make advanced visualization workflow simpler and user training easier to perform. The software is able to deliver 3D visualizations that are more consistent and usable for clinicians; for example, Revoras uses a consistent layout to present results, from cardiac to neuro images.

The platform has artificial intelligence (AI) functionality built in to improve automation for tasks such as coronary calcium scoring. It also includes collaborative tools that enable easier communication between physicians, such between referring doctors and surgeons.

A key feature built into Revoras is Rembrandt, a new visualization mode that processes medical scans to deliver photorealistic images, similar to cinematic rendering. Rembrandt could be particularly useful for education and patient engagement, according to Rajeev Taitriya, vice president of marketing and business development for Ziosoft.

Revoras will become Ziosoft’s flagship advanced visualization platform going forward, but users of the company’s Ziosoft2 workstation will be able to upgrade to the new software. Revoras will also be made available to customers through the company’s Zioflex monthly subscription plan.

Installations of Revoras are running in Japan, and Ziosoft expects to begin shipping the software in the first quarter of 2023.
