RSNA 2017: NucleusHealth introduces cloud-based diagnostic viewer
Teleradiology and medical image management company NucleusHealth, has introduced a cloud=based diagnostic viewer at the 2017 RSNA. Nucleus Dx is a cross-platform (Windows or Mac) diagnostic viewer that runs in any modern web browser. It is built on the Nucleus.io™ image management platform.
The Nucleus Dx product features advanced functionality including client-side multi-planar reformatting (MPR) with double oblique and thick slab rendering, advanced hanging protocols, and multi-monitor support. It runs in a web browser using state-of-the art HTML5 and JavaScript technology.
Nucleus.io is a scalable, web-based platform for medical image management. At the core of the platform is patented streaming technology that provides diagnostic workstation performance and image quality from the cloud over the Internet to a web browser. Nucleus.io is designed to significantly improve clinical collaboration and patient care through fast access to images, reduce IT overhead, is optimized for machine learning, and can provide flexibility and customization through numerous RESTful APIs. Nucleus.io can be used for image storage, sharing, routing and diagnostic-quality image viewing. Developers can also build custom web based medical imaging applications on the platform.
