Chairman, Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology
University Medical Center

Professor Thorsten Bley is a board-certified radiologist and serves as Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University of Würzburg, Germany. His research training includes scientific collaboration with Dr. Jürgen Hennig, a medical physicist and pioneer in magnetic resonance imaging.

Professor Bley further advanced his expertise in medical physics as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he worked closely with Thomas M. Grist, M.D., FACR, Charles Mistretta, Ph.D., and Scott B. Reeder, M.D., Ph.D.
