Fujifilm Debuts Cloud-Based Synapse One to Streamline Outpatient Imaging Workflows

Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation is introducing Synapse One, a new enterprise imaging platform built to meet the unique demands of outpatient imaging centers. The all-in-one solution consolidates a wide range of clinical and administrative tools into a single cloud-native environment, aimed at driving efficiency, lowering costs, and supporting scalability across diverse outpatient settings.

Synapse One integrates functionalities such as patient engagement, exam self-scheduling, RIS, advanced scheduling tools, revenue cycle management (RCM), PACS, 3D imaging, and a physician portal—all accessible through the Synapse ecosystem hosted securely in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The platform will be unveiled at Fujifilm’s booth (#3300, South Hall) during the 2025 RSNA Annual Meeting in Chicago, taking place November 30 through December 3.

With outpatient imaging centers under constant pressure to do more with less, Synapse One addresses growing financial and operational challenges by replacing multiple disparate systems with a unified platform. This consolidation eliminates the need for costly third-party integrations and support contracts, while also removing the infrastructure burden associated with traditional data center management. By moving to a secure cloud environment, facilities gain increased data protection and long-term sustainability without compromising on capability.

The launch marks a new chapter in Fujifilm’s commitment to delivering scalable, secure, and highly functional imaging solutions tailored to the evolving needs of outpatient care.
