Royal Philips and Masimo have extended their long-standing collaboration with a new multi-year agreement aimed at accelerating the development and integration of advanced monitoring technologies. The expanded partnership emphasizes clinician-centered tools designed to enhance interoperability, streamline workflows, and support timely decision-making across the continuum of care.

Under the renewed agreement, Masimo’s established and emerging technologies—including SET® pulse oximetry, Radius PPG, and multiple sensor innovations—will be embedded into Philips’ multi-parameter patient monitoring platforms. This integration will allow clinicians to access consistent, validated physiologic data through bedside monitors, central stations, and wearable solutions, while reducing system complexity. By supporting vendor-neutral interoperability, the collaboration seeks to offer hospitals greater flexibility in adopting preferred monitoring modalities without disrupting existing workflows.

In addition to expanding current integrations, Philips and Masimo plan to co-develop new solutions targeting evolving clinical demands such as greater patient mobility, continuous monitoring beyond the acute setting, and AI-driven insights. These efforts are expected to improve continuity of care while adapting to operational challenges such as staff shortages and increasing patient acuity.

“Our priority is helping clinicians deliver the best possible care to their patients, and that means staying ahead of the curve,” noted Julia Strandberg, Executive Vice President and Business Leader Connected Care at Philips. “This partnership allows us to respond quickly to evolving clinical needs and market trends, integrating proven technologies into solutions that are easy to use, reliable, and scalable.”

Masimo leadership emphasized the impact of broadening access to its portfolio through Philips’ global platforms. “Expanding our strong, long-standing partnership with Philips allows us to build on our shared legacies of innovation and helps ensure that Masimo’s best-in-class technologies reach even more patients,” said Katie Szyman, CEO of Masimo. “Together, Masimo and Philips will continue to empower clinicians to transform patient care.”

By combining Philips’ expertise in patient monitoring with Masimo’s noninvasive sensor technologies, the collaboration aims to deliver integrated, clinically validated systems that can scale across diverse care environments. The agreement aligns with Philips’ broader strategy of partnering with industry leaders to advance connected care, improve operational efficiency, and provide interoperable solutions that adapt to modern healthcare challenges.
