NewVue has expanded its collaboration with Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, evolving from a referral-based agreement into a full reseller partnership. Announced on May 20, 2025, the new agreement allows Konica Minolta to directly distribute NewVue’s EmpowerSuite, an advanced radiology workflow platform, to imaging practices throughout the United States. This move marks a significant step toward increasing access to AI-driven, cloud-native workflow solutions designed to streamline radiologist operations and modernize the imaging experience.

EmpowerSuite functions as a unified radiology workflow orchestrator, consolidating a wide array of tools, data streams, and processes into a single intelligent interface. The platform is engineered to reduce radiologist burnout, simplify IT management, and scale efficiently to support practices of all sizes. At its core is the Radiologist Cockpit, a highly integrated desktop interface that brings together personalized worklists, AI-powered clinical insights, real-time communication tools, and quality improvement workflows. This comprehensive design improves clinical focus by reducing the fragmentation typically seen in radiology systems.

The integration of EmpowerSuite with the Exa® Viewer provides radiologists with a streamlined and fully equipped desktop environment, enabling them to concentrate on image interpretation without the distractions of switching between disjointed systems. This seamless integration has driven increased adoption of the platform among radiology groups searching for a more efficient and intuitive way to manage daily operations.

Commenting on the partnership, Kyle Lawton, CEO of NewVue, emphasized the shared commitment between the two companies to bring intelligent, user-centric design to radiology. He noted that the reseller agreement would extend the reach of EmpowerSuite—particularly its Radiologist Cockpit—to more practices seeking cohesive and modernized imaging solutions. Lawton highlighted that this expanded relationship aligns with the industry’s demand for smart automation and integration that genuinely enhances the radiologist experience.

Kevin Chlopecki, Chief Operating Officer at Konica Minolta Healthcare, echoed this sentiment, stating that many of their customers are looking for cloud-based, interoperable platforms that support growth without adding complexity. By offering EmpowerSuite as part of its product portfolio, Konica Minolta can better help imaging providers modernize their operations while maintaining existing infrastructure.

This expanded alliance allows both companies to offer a solution that helps optimize radiology workflows, elevate the user experience, and promote scalable innovation without requiring a full system overhaul. Together, NewVue and Konica Minolta are addressing the evolving needs of radiology practices, making advanced, AI-powered desktop environments more accessible and impactful across the healthcare landscape.
