Fujifilm to Unveil Enterprise Imaging Innovations at RSNA 2025

Published Date: November 25, 2025

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is set to spotlight a suite of enhancements to its Synapse enterprise imaging and informatics platform during the 2025 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting, held from November 30 to December 3. At booth #3300, Fujifilm will showcase new advancements aimed at improving imaging workflows for both large health systems and outpatient imaging centers.

Among the highlights is the next-generation Synapse PACS, now equipped with embedded artificial intelligence and native 3D visualization tools. The system introduces intelligent study assignment, automated prioritization, and 3D-enhanced image analysis directly into the reading workflow, tailored to meet the needs of multiple specialties including radiology, mammography, cardiology, pathology, and point-of-care ultrasound. Synapse PACS also features the new Synapse Viewer eXtension—a high-speed native PACS application designed to offer a seamless reading experience across locations.

“The new system is really powerful, even when compared to other vendors’ PACS,” noted Ben Arnold, PACS System Engineer at OhioHealth.

Complementing this is Synapse One, Fujifilm’s all-in-one imaging solution designed specifically for outpatient settings. Hosted securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Synapse One integrates patient engagement, exam self-scheduling, RIS, PACS, advanced 3D imaging, and physician portals into a single platform—eliminating the need for multiple third-party tools while reducing operational overhead.

“At this year’s RSNA, we’re shining a light on the continuous expansion of our Synapse enterprise imaging portfolio,” said Bill Lacy, senior vice president of medical informatics global business at Fujifilm. “We’re extremely excited to demonstrate the next generation of our cloud-first Synapse PACS with native advanced visualization and AI adoption, from imaging analytics to AI-driven workflow.”

As part of the RSNA program, Fujifilm will also host a featured presentation by Dr. Roger Yang, president of University Radiology Group (URG), on December 2 at 3:00 p.m. CT in the Innovation Theater (Booth #3316). Dr. Yang will detail how URG has leveraged Fujifilm’s Synapse AI Orchestrator to optimize mammography workflows. He will share real-world results, outline current industry infrastructure for AI integration into PACS, and explain how Fujifilm’s orchestrator simplifies AI implementation by delivering a unified user experience across various AI engines.

The updates reflect Fujifilm’s continued focus on aligning imaging technology with evolving clinical demands, delivering smarter, cloud-enabled solutions that elevate performance and streamline diagnostic operations.
