Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound honors Philadelphia pediatric radiologist

The Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU) has awarded its 2018 Distinguished Service Award to Beverly G. Coleman, MD, director of fetal imaging in the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Coleman received the award at the SRU annual meeting held in San Diego in October.

The SRU Distinguished Service Award honors individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service to the society and to the field of radiology.

Dr. Coleman served as president of the SRU from 2003 to 2005. She is currently the ultrasound commission chair for the American College of Radiology.
