United Imaging, a leading global innovator in medical imaging technologies, has announced the arrival of its advanced uMI Panorama™ digital PET/CT scanner at a new high-tech facility in Jupiter, Florida—marking the first installation of this system in the state.

The scanner is being introduced at Florida Theranostics, a new center dedicated to precision medicine and personalized care. The facility officially opened its doors today and is designed to deliver patient-centered services with a focus on comprehensive treatment and diagnostic experiences. Its debut comes just one year after receiving the Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Center of Excellence recognition from the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI)—a distinction it holds as the only one in South Florida, according to the center’s website.

A key highlight of the grand opening is the unveiling of United Imaging’s digital PET/CT scanner, a cutting-edge technology that blends the metabolic insights of PET scans with the structural clarity of CT imaging. This fusion provides a powerful diagnostic tool that allows clinicians to more accurately detect, stage, and monitor conditions such as cancer.

"Florida Theranostics is built upon the foundation of precision medicine, committed to delivering efficient, precise, and empathetic treatment to every patient we serve. Our goal is to be at the forefront of the radioligand therapy and molecular imaging field of medicine, establishing ourselves as a top leader in the south Florida region. We believe leveraging cutting-edge technology such as the United Imaging uMI Panorama PET/CT will bring us closer to achieving that goal."

The uMI Panorama is equipped with a range of advanced features that distinguish it from other systems in the market:
