Curiteva, Inc., a leading technology and manufacturing company, announced that its novel Inspire® Cervical implant has been utilized in over 5,000 cervical spine levels since its initial surgical application in April 2023. This achievement underscores the growing adoption of Curiteva's 3D printed trabecular PEEK implant in spinal procedures.

Spine surgeons report significant benefits from the Inspire® technology. Dr. Chambliss Harrod of The Spine Center of Louisiana noted, "I've seen remarkable radiographic evidence with the Inspire platform, including visible bone growth within the graft window and through the implant within just 3 to 6 months. This provides clinicians with an unparalleled ability to assess healing and progress reliably."

Dr. John Johnson from SportsMed Orthopedic Surgery and Spine Center in Alabama stated, "With this implant, I often require little to no bracing and have significantly greater confidence in both fusion rates and patient satisfaction during multilevel ACDF procedures."

Dr. Mark N. Hadley of the University of Alabama Department of Neurosurgery in Birmingham commented on the broader implications of the technology: "After using Allograft for 30+ years, I have finally found a viable replacement for bone. These Curiteva implants have the potential to revolutionize not only spine care but also a wide range of other applications where previously bone might have been used. This technology has set a new standard in patient care through its innovative design and exceptional biomechanical and potential biological properties."

The Inspire® implant is engineered using Curiteva's proprietary Fused Filament Fabrication 3D printing technology, resulting in a fully interconnected porous structure throughout the implant. Combined with its HA FUSE® sub-micron nano-texturing, the implant promotes bone through-growth, enhancing the biological environment for integration.

Building on this momentum, Curiteva plans to fully commercialize its Inspire® TLIF Anterior and Inspire® TLIF Oblique implants following successful alpha launches. Additionally, the company is preparing to introduce its ALIF portfolio, including Monolithic, Thoracolumbar Plate, and Standalone implants, later this year.

"These achievements reflect the synergy of innovative technology, world-class manufacturing, vibrant partnerships, and clinical trust," said Chad Falciani, Curiteva's Founder and Chairman of the Board.
