The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM)’s Alliance for Quality Computed Tomography (AQCT) has released new protocols for routine pediatric computed tomography (CT) examinations and routine pediatric abdomen and pelvis CT examinations.
AQT is a working group of AAPM which consists of academic and consulting medical physicists who specialize in CT imaging and liaison representatives for the American College of Radiology (ACR), the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
