Hitachi Exhibits Its Expanded Portfolio of New CT, MR, Ultrasound and IT Solutions
Hitachi Healthcare introduced the new Scenaria View, currently pending 510(k) clearance, a premium performance 64/128 slice CT that features Hitachi’s next generation dose reduction capabilities and industry-leading patient accommodation attributes. With a larger 80cm aperture, lateral shift table with +/- 10 cm shift range and 84kW generator, the View can better accommodate patients of different sizes and is ideally suited to the high workflow and advanced applications needs of demanding CT providers.

The Scenaria View combines all of Hitachi’s experience and expertise in a remarkable new product providing an unmatched combination of speed comfort and quality,,” said Mark Silverman, Director of CT Marketing.
With an all-new design, the Scenaria View enhances patient comfort with an open design that accommodates the largest of patients, while the dose reduction features and broad range of choices for clinical applications meet the individual provider’s needs. It’s the first CT system to utilize powerful SynergyDrive premium tier high-workflow features, helping improve workflow from a clinical and technical perspective.
The company is also demonstrating Evolution 6 software, currently pending US FDA 510(k) clearance, with SynergyDrive workflow for the Echelon Oval, the widest wide bore available. New clinical and workflow capabilities include Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping (QSM) and HiMAR for advanced metal artifact reduction. Oasis, the flagship patient-friendly 1.2T high-field open MRI, will be on display with Evolution 6 software featuring TIGRE Navi for high resolution free breathing abdominal imaging and other enhancements.
In Information Technology, Hitachi unveiled its latest acquisition, the VidiStar Image Management and Analytics platform. VidiStar combines structured reporting with analytics and a number of workflow features to provide facilities with the ability to identify critical values in patient reports and ensure critical results aren’t missed. It captures anatomical structures while simultaneously mining reporting data in the database to help with ACR accreditation and trending analysis.
Hitachi’s booth includes a pod dedicated to AI technology, where Hitachi Vantara will showcase the Lumada Applications for Industrial IoT. With sensor data, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, gain end-to-end operational visibility and predictive quality to overcome process inefficiencies and information silos. Visitors can see how Lumada uses data to help identify pathology quickly and accurately.
