By Staff News Brief

Agfa HealthCare, a global provider of eHealth and digital imaging solutions headquartered in Mortsel, Belgium, is demonstrating its latest work-in-progress visions for Augmented Intelligence through workflow optimized integration of its enterprise imaging solutions, with products offered by IBM Watson Health, RadLogics, and Mindshare Medical.

The company explains that the approach it is pursuing will allow Agfa to offer clients leading edge algorithms that are tied together and bolstered with the capabilities of Agfa’s flagship enterprise imaging offering. “Tools for advanced analytics, workflow automation, visual collaboration and reports will help radiologists, physicians and clinicians increase throughput and streamline care delivery,” said James Jay, president of imaging IT solutions.

In addition, Agfa HealthCare will demonstrate work-in-progress algorithms designed to help screen for life-threatening diseases such as cancer and tuberculosis. These originally conceived and third-party algorithms will enable healthcare providers to view contextual images and optimize screening workflows.
