Konica Minolta Healthcare introduced Exa™ Cardio at ACC annual meeting

Konica Minolta Healthcare introduced Exa™ Cardio, a cardiology image management system, to attendees of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) annual meeting held March 10-12 in Orlando, FL. Exa Cardio enables access to both DICOM and non-DICOM imaging studies. It delivers instant access to prior and current echocardiograms in user-customizable formats.  Stress echocardiograms are synchronized and displayed side-by-side, both by stage and view for treadmill and pharmacologic stress exams. Exa also seamlessly integrates with third-party solutions for advanced and 3D quantification of echocardiograms, as well as review and reporting of nuclear cardiac studies and ECG.

Imaging workflow can be easily customized for enhanced staff efficiency and clinical productivity. The system tracks exam volume, clinical performance, and referring physician ordering patterns in real-time through performance dashboards. The system also incorporates customizable structured reporting templates to facilitate dictation and rapid report production.

Exa Cardio can be used as an integrated solution or with a healthcare facility’s installed software technology. It is a module of Konica Minolta’s enterprise imaging system that incorporates electronic health records (EHR), radiology information systems (RIS), and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
