Intelerad launches disaster recovery platform at RSNA 2018

Canadian enterprise workflow solution company Intelerad launched the nuage® Disaster Recovery Platform, a flexible managed public cloud infrastructure designed to minimize diseaser recovery processes, at the RSNA 2018 annual meeting.

The software is designed to be used with a disaster recovery plan. It will help ensure business continuity and resilience of healthcare data in PACS, operational systems, and business operations in the event of network outages, disasters, and malicious attacks.

The nuage Disaster Recovery Platform is a cost-effective data recovery system built on a secure cloud services platform, according to Intelerad. It offers high availability and on-demand scalability while complying with patient privacy regulations.

Intelerad’s nuage® Patient Portal, a cloud based zero-footprint patient portal introduced in Australia in mid-October, made its North American debut at the RSNA. It features any-time, anywhere self-service access to exam history, images and reports from multiple providers. Information access is secure and tightly controlled, and can be customized through privilege granting. Browser and mobile interfaces are available for flexible access.
